why fanmigos adore jane fonda...

Children of powerful people often have a hard time and she has done better than most. At one time I guess I would have had lots to say to her about her politics. I always figured her for an overwhelmed daddy's girl and suspected her politics were more inherited than well thought out. I figured that she and dad were well cast in "On Golden Pond" because the plot reflected an overly introspective Hollywood kid's abandoned loving daughter reality. Blah ! Blah ! Blah ! So much psychocrap! It's the sort of thing that became dangerous with our now hurtin' George Bush and even a conservative like me is glad to see the end of him. He was a daddy's boy and got everyone into a real mess with Iraq and took the economy with him. He was a spoiled political kid taking bows for safely flying a fighter with the National Guard but chickened out of the big picture. It scares me when someone like that has an aircraft carrier group in his holster to play out is over challenged manly frustrations. I suppose I should be silent - I figured he was a daddy's boy when he was elected but never imagined that his weakness would come to bear on world events. At least if what I think about Jane's early daddy's girl politics is true -she was young and forgivable. At least she only took a ride in a plane - who the hell put a microphone in the hands of a wild eyed kid anyway? Anyway Enough about Jane Fonda - time to make my wife a coffee.
